How cool are these little boats? No it’s not some miniature land or world of gigantic people, it’s tiny sized supertankers that are used to train captains of these boats. They realistically mimic the controls and movements of a real oil tanker and can even be disabled by remote control to test the pilots’ ability in an emergency situation on the high seas. Before you get any ideas about investigating how to buy one of these for your backyard pool or lake, I’ll save you the hassle- they cost $240,000 each. So it’s a serious training tool. Seriously expensive. But seriously cool.
