BabyScatt is an interesting device designed for emergency evacuations of babies. It’s intended for use in nursery schools, hospitals and other areas where large number of infants are kept together (like the Octomom’s house). Basically it’s a giant wheeled sled with pockets in which you can strap in either six infants or four toddlers depending upon pocket configuration.
The BabyScatt has metal bars to protect the babies on all sides and can easily negotiates stairs, landings and rough terrain. In most cases, a single adult can pull the BabyScatt and heroically evacuate six babies at once. It collapses for storage. Despite the name that sounds like something a child does in it’s diaper, this device could really be a lifesaver in an emergency.

[...] Metal bars surrounding all sides of the cart work to protect the babies as one adult maneuvers them down stairs, over rough terrain and out of harm’s way. Or if you’re Kate Gosselin, you can use this cart to strap your kids in and maneuver them into the spotlight—unfortunately there’s no way for her to strap in her, uh, reluctant husband, too.
