The real Taj Mahal took 21 years to build and it may very well take you close to that long to build the Lego Taj Mahal kit since it’s the largest LEGO set ever produced at 5922 pieces. Designed for the experienced LEGO builder, the Taj Mahal when build will measure over 20″ square and 16″ tall. The Taj Mahal is considered to be the world’s finest example of Mughal architecture and the LEGO version has all the elements that make it beautiful from the base, minarets, domes, finials, arches, to the stairs in the front! Pretty impressive!

This is big no doubt but there is a lego set that is the entire deathstar! It is something like 4′ across. I can’t remember how many pieces it is but I think it is more than 6k.
looks awesome! It may have the most pieces, but is not the most expensive – the Millennium Falcon is almost $500 http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Ultimate-Collectors-Millennium-Falcon/dp/B000WLW3W0/ref=pd_sim_t_6
Lego should make more models of Landmarks. Like The Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, The Sphinx and The Leaning Tower of Piza.
shopped
The Millenium Falcon has 5195 so this is bigger.
