A Pedometer for Your Dog (Pet-ometer?)

Takara Tomy (JP, natch) has just announced a pedometer for your dog. This poochometer straps to one of your dog’s legs and has a sensor that disregards shaking and non-walking movements your dog might make.

The display has over 30 icons to display all the exciting things your dog does during the day like sleeping, eating, running, and walking (if your dog is anything like mine, the screen pixels for sleeping are going to burn out quickly). I wonder if there’s a display icon for stretching, obsessive licking, randomly barking at the door when there’s nobody there, begging for food, sniffing, peeing on car tires, yawning, and scooby-dooing. The pedometer will cost about $55.
