Designed by Italy’s Ezri Tarazi this welded aluminum table is composed of hundreds of industrial extruded aluminum profiles, skillfully welded together. The table is meant to represent Baghdad; the Tigris River and main streets are based on an aerial photograph taken in 2003 (before the US invasion). The buildings and structures in between are based on the artists own creative interpretation however.

The table measures 78.75″ x 64″ and is 13.75″ high, so measure carefully if you’re planning on blowing the $45,000 needed to buy this table, which doesn’t even look like you could put anything on. Of course, practicality and money aren’t always in the same place- that’s nothing new.
