Glass Topped Pool Table Lets You See the Bottom of Your Balls

This transparent pool table is all kinds of awesome. The G-1 from Nottage Design has a two level playing surface with transparent Vitrik film replacing the traditional felt surface on top and toughened glass underneath that to provide support like the slate bed normally does. Vitrik is a specially designed film material that will let the balls roll with the same sort of resistance as felt does. Bumpers, pockets and playing area are built to international billiards standards.

The G-1 is definitely a table for high rollers, as it costs around $25,000. it also comes in frosted, which gives the balls a “floating on ice” look when lit from underneath. Video of it in action? You got it buddy:
