Sony’s new MDR-EX36SC headphones are an innovative convergence of audio devices. They are just regular Sony earbuds but the innovation is the case the earbuds come in. The case itself is an unpowered speaker so you have the option of listening to your music with the headphones or without. The sound from the speaker is obviously not going to be the best but if you’re carrying your earbuds in a protective case anyway, you might as well have one that’s a speaker too.
