8 Foot Tall Speakers Look like Old Phonographs

Most speaker designers tend to go towards the modern futuristic look, smaller, rounded, perhaps even sleek. But not so with these Speciman XL Horn speakers built for musician Andrew Bird. They’ve taken the opposite approach and gone massive, clunky and retro with speakers that look like something out of the Flintstones. The XL Horns are built to be “extraordinarily efficient and have an alarming bass response”. Cool.
