Floating Pet Collar for Emergencies

In theory the Float-a-Pet collar is a good idea- an inflating floating emergency collar with a flashing light so you can locate your pet. In execution- not so good. First off- DOGS CAN SWIM!@!! Secondly, the flashing light is powered by solar, which might not be the best way to power something intended for emergency nighttime illumination. Third, a large collar might be more prone to getting your dog caught on branches or other debris in a flood. Fourth, the self inflating mechanism would probably scare the crap out of your dog. I’m not so sure this one is gonna fly (or float as the case may be).
