The Blok is an awesome new faucet from Treemme (website in Italian). It consists of a minimalist faucet mounted to a large shelf. Embedded within the shelf is a glowing digital display showing the water’s temperature. You can view the thermostat to instantly know if the water is too hot or too cold without having to do the tried and true water touching method. Those precious fingers of yours no longer have to get any wetter than needed while you wait for your water to reach it’s optimal temperature. No prices listed but it’s Italian made and designed so you can bet it’s in the reaches of the luxury faucet arena.

Nope: 99% of faucets I use are still the old twist’n'turn and get the bath-temperature wrong variety. Perhaps it’s because designs like this one from Italian makers Treemme are slightly impractical: it requires its own largeish mounting shelf, with built-in digital display.
