Sometimes you have to take the party with you and the BoomCooler is the ultimate party machine. At $900 for a stereo in a cooler it damn well better be. Make no mistake, this is one powerful stereo; an 1100 watt 10″ subwoofer, a pair of 240 watt speakers and a 4 channel 600 watt amplifier all by Sony are built in. All that boomboxing leaves no space to cool off any drinks, so you’ll need a regular cooler for that. The BoomCooler is on wheels because it weighs 77 lbs without batteries. It’s basically a massive car stereo in a cooler. There you go.

Yeah, I built one of these with waterproof speakers, but (2) 12″ 1200 watt subs powered by a 1000 watt rockford amp and (4) 6×9″ 4 way mid/hi’s powered by a 400 watt Scosche amp. Kinda necessary when your university is less than 10 miles from a 3 hour float on the Comal River. you’re a little late.
What a ripoff… I built one of these with a cooler and battery I already had and used marine grade speakers, and only invested about $100.00. (used ipod hookup instead of car stereo). You can build the exact same setup that they use for about $550.00.
Talk about markup…Come on guys.
