Coin Lamp Won’t Work for Free

The Coin Lamp is no dummy…you want him to light up, you’re gonna have to pay up. Look at all those other idiot hippie lights giving away their light for free… power to the people! The Coin Lamp is like a yuppie, all about the money or as the designer says “the concept of values and reward, it subtly heightens awareness of consumption through design.” The switch is internal and coin-operated and will light up for a predetermined amount of time once you insert a coin. And don’t even think about bubble-gumming a coin to a piece of string to try to cheat the lamp!
