Check out this great CD box set packaging concept from Design Has No Name. They’ve recycled an old Nintendo Entertainment System 8 bit cartridge and split it open to hold the CD and booklet. Then the cartridge goes inside a slightly larger than normal sized CD box set.

The whole thing looks pretty sleek and cool. Of course it’s fitting that they used a Beck compilation for the design because this seems like exactly the type of CD packaging he would put out. The NES CD DigiPack would also make an uber ironic case for your Nintendo Wii games.
