Hard Boiled Egg Shaper Molds

Here in America hard boiled eggs come in only two shapes- round or sliced (admittedly we do enjoy crazy shaped scrambled eggs). In Japan however, it’s a whole different game. You can get your hard boiled eggs in hundreds of different shapes from rabbits to bears to fish to cars. How do they do it? The secret is crazy shaped chickens. A secret society in Japan is breeding car shaped chickens that drop out car shaped eggs.

OR, it’s an egg shaper. The egg shaper is basically a mold that you place a hot egg inside of. Press it close, put the whole gadget in cold water for ten minutes and bam! you have a car shaped egg. And no crazy chicken genetics gone wild needed.
