Most of the time you’re “on the clock”, in this case you’d be under the clock- literally. This gigantic ceiling clock display from Realities United represents the minute digits on a clock. The overhead lights change every minute to form the current time digits while the overall lighting level remains constant. The installation is supposed to subtly contextualize the concept within and above the exhibit space itself (or some shit like that, you know how those art exhibit people write, who the hell can comprehend what they’re trying to say? all I know is that it’s cool).
