From Japan comes the “Etiquette Checker“, an electronic bad breath detection device. You breathe into the LCD backlit gadget and it gives you a bad breath rating score from 1 (kiss her!) to 6 (you could kill somebody with that). It costs almost $60, or the price of several years supply worth of breath mints. The Etiquette Checker can also measure your alcohol level…so if you’re too drunk to drive but the breath is still fresh, why not take a cab back to her place- there’s no excuse.
