The new Touch Table EES from Toyquest is a massive swiveling touchscreen device that comes preloaded with several games and educational software (edutainment). The 21 inch screen can be used by kids to draw on digitally, view photographs, or use the encyclopedia. You can even dock your Wii into the side of it.
As someone who learned what’s inside an Etch-a-Sketch the hard way when I was a kid, I’d say that putting a $499 touchscreen device at kid’s eye level and encouraging them to press the screen is just asking for the flying elbow off the top rope. Clearly it’s not for adults as there’s no word yet on if photohunt or a password protected version of nude photohunt will be made available.
